Launch of ESG Assessment Program at ASIP Cserkút

We are proud to announce the initiation of a comprehensive Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) assessment program at our ASIP facility in Cserkút. This initiative marks a significant step in reinforcing our commitment to sustainable operations and regulatory compliance.

The project is being carried out in close cooperation with the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Pécs, a recognized academic partner with expertise in ESG-related programs. In addition, an external accredited ESG expert is supporting the process to ensure professional rigor and alignment with best practices as well as with the requirements of the Hungarian ESG legislation.

The assessment is based on a structured and multi-layered methodology. Key techniques applied during the project include ESG data collection and reporting, the use of official regulatory guidelines, stakeholder questionnaires, internal interviews, as well as materiality and risk assessments. A GAP analysis will also be conducted to identify areas for improvement and ensure alignment with ESG expectations.

The main output of the program will be a comprehensive ESG due diligence and performance evaluation document. This documentation will provide a detailed overview of the current ESG-related operations and mindset within the ASIP Cserkút organization, including its local activities. It will also highlight key strengths and identify opportunities for further development.

The primary objective of this initiative is to create a transparent and structured ESG performance baseline that supports both internal decision-making and external compliance requirements. By aligning with the expectations set out in the Hungarian ESG framework, the organization will be better positioned to meet regulatory standards while also advancing its sustainability strategy.

Furthermore, the conclusions of the assessment will serve as a foundation for launching additional ESG-focused initiatives and programs within the company, contributing to long-term value creation and responsible business conduct.

The planned duration of the project is two months. Throughout this period, we will provide regular updates on the key steps, milestones, and insights of the project, ensuring transparency and engagement with our stakeholders.

Through this initiative, ASIP Cserkút continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainability, accountability, and continuous improvement in all aspects of its operations.
