Amphenol opened its 800-square-metre plant hall in Pécs.
The U.S. optical and electronics manufacturing company plans to develop development and business units in addition to manufacturing.
István Decsi, deputy mayor of Pécs, stressed that Pécs is being put on the map in a new economic sector, and now as the European headquarters of a giant company. The investment is hoped to create 200 new jobs in the region in two years’ time.
